I have a valid Canadian driver's licence (Ontario). Must I also take the driver's test with a vehicle in addition to the written test?

There is an International Conveny valid in the Country of Mexico, and also is stated that a driver license issued in Europe, Asia or Latin and North America are valid if they are vigent. Even the Traffic Law says a driver license issued in another country is going to be taken as valid.
